This Privacy Policy describes how Domixa (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use the Domixa application on Android and iOS (iPhone / iPad).
Domixa is an offline-first construction materials management app. Most of your data stays on your device. We do not operate a Domixa account system or a Domixa cloud backend that stores your inventory or project data.

2. Information we process
2.1 Information you enter in the App (stored on your device)
Depending on how you use Domixa, the App may store on your device:
Material catalog (names, categories, units, prices, stock thresholds, notes, optional unit conversion)
Projects (names, addresses, status, dates, notes)
Inventory and stock in/out transactions (quantities, prices, dates, suppliers/receivers, notes)
Project material plans
Optional photos of receipts or invoices attached to inbound transactions
App preferences such as language and currency display settings
This information is stored in local device storage (including an on-device database and local files).
It is not uploaded to Domixa servers, because Domixa does not provide a Domixa-operated cloud database for this data.
2.2 Permissions and device features
Domixa may request or use:
Internet access — used for optional Google sign-in / authorization and optional Google Sheets sync.
Notifications — used to alert you about low-stock materials (with your permission; on Android 13+ and iOS this requires an explicit system prompt).
Photo selection — when you attach a receipt/invoice image, Domixa uses the system photo / document picker. Selected images are copied into the App’s private local storage.
Domixa does not require continuous access to your full photo library, camera, contacts, microphone, or precise location for its core offline features.
2.3 Optional Google account & Google Sheets
If you use Sync to Google Sheets (or similar export-to-Sheets features):
You authorize Domixa to access Google Sheets through Google’s authorization flow.
Domixa requests per-file Google Drive access (drive.file) to create and update spreadsheets you ask it to create — not access to all of your Drive or Sheets.
Domixa may send categories, materials, inventory, projects, plans, and transaction records to create a spreadsheet in your Google Drive / Google account.
Domixa does not receive or store your Google password.
This sync is user-initiated and optional. If you never use it, your inventory data remains on-device only (aside from backups/exports you create yourself).
If you create a backup, save/share a PDF or CSV report, or share files:
Files are generated on your device.
When you save or share them, they go to destinations you choose (Files / Downloads, Drive, email apps, messaging apps, AirDrop, etc.).
Domixa does not automatically upload backups to Domixa servers.
If a backup includes receipt photos, those photos are included in the backup file you create.
2.5 Information we do not collect (via Domixa servers)
Domixa does not currently collect through Domixa-operated servers:
Advertising identifiers for ads
Analytics event streams to Domixa
Your inventory/project database for Domixa cloud hosting
Payment card data (the App does not process payments)
3. How we use information
On-device data is used solely to provide App features, such as:
Tracking materials, stock levels, and projects
Recording stock in/out history
Showing dashboards and reports
Sending local low-stock notifications
Creating optional Google Sheets spreadsheets or local backup/export files at your request
Remembering language and currency preferences
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your inventory/project data with third parties for advertising.
Information may leave your device only when:
You authorize Google Sheets sync (to your Google account), or
You export, backup, save, or share files using the system share sheet / file picker on Android or iOS, or
Required by law (for example, if we receive a valid legal request — which is unlikely for local-only data we do not host).
Third-party apps or services you choose (Google, email, cloud storage, messaging) have their own privacy policies.
5. Data retention
On-device App data remains until you delete it in the App, clear App storage, uninstall Domixa, or restore over it with a backup.
Google Sheets copies remain in your Google account until you delete them there.
Backup/export files you saved remain wherever you stored them until you delete them.
6. Data security
We design Domixa to keep core business data local to your device. You should:
Protect your device with a screen lock
Be careful when sharing backups or spreadsheets
Use trusted Google accounts if you enable Sheets sync
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Local storage and third-party services you choose also have residual risk.
7. Children’s privacy
Domixa is intended for business/personal construction materials management and is
not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Domixa servers.
8. International users
Domixa primarily stores data on your device. If you sync to Google Sheets or share files, those services may process data in other countries according to their terms and policies.
9. Your choices & controls
You can:
Use Domixa fully offline without Google Sheets sync
Deny notification permission (low-stock alerts will not appear as system notifications)
Avoid attaching photos
Delete or edit transactions, materials, and projects in the App
Delete Domixa app data via Android or iOS settings, or uninstall the App
Revoke Google Sheets access in your Google Account permissions settings
Delete spreadsheets and backup files you created
10. Store privacy disclosures (guide)
When completing Google Play Data safety or App Store Privacy nutrition labels, the following is typically accurate for the current Domixa build (verify before submitting):
Data collected by Domixa servers: No (Domixa does not operate a backend that collects your inventory data).
Tracking: No (Domixa does not use tracking for ads or cross-app advertising).
Data linked to you / shared: Optional sharing with Google Sheets only when the user initiates sync; also user-driven file sharing/export (PDF, CSV, ZIP backup).
Data types that may be handled on device / optionally synced by user: App activity / business content you enter (materials, projects, transactions), photos (optional receipts), app settings (language/currency).
Encryption in transit: Used when communicating with Google APIs over HTTPS for optional Sheets sync.
Account creation: Not required for Domixa itself.
Ads: No.
Children: Not targeted at children.
Always re-check Play Console / App Store Connect questions against the exact build you upload.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when App features or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised. Continued use of Domixa after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
